Stewart Cairns – CEO
Co-founder of Zamira, Stewart has extensive senior management experience developed over 25 years in a wide range of industries including animal health, event management, international trade and agriculture. He holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree and an MBA from the University of Melbourne. Previous roles include founding and managing a waste to energy business, management of an animal health business across the Asia Pacific region, member of the global leadership team within a multinational pharmaceutical and Board level experience in an international animal health industry association.

Peter Currie – CFO
Peter is a founding partner and Director of Zamira. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Peter has many years of experience in senior management and finance roles in multinational companies where he has been responsible for Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Accounting & Audit, IT, Logistics and Administration. More recently Peter has been a business owner of an animal health distribution business and a waste to energy business.
Dr Tapan Saha – Director – South Asia
Dr Saha holds a Masters and PhD in Animal Nutrition from the National Dairy Research Institute in India. Dr Saha has many years of experience in the Indian animal health industry with previous roles as South Asian Team Leader for Ranbaxy Laboratories, Branch Management and Marketing & Technical Support with Alpharma and Director – Business Development with Provet India.
Dr R Pandian – Technical Manager – South Asia
Dr Pandian holds a Bachelor degree in Veterinary Science from the Veterinary College & Research Institute in India. Dr Pandian is recognized as a leading expert in broiler breeders, hatchery, commercial broiler operations and feed formulation and has over 20 year’s experience in poultry production through previous roles with Shanthi Feeds and Suguna Poultry Farms.
Mr M Venkatesan – Branch Manager – Chennai
Mr Venkatesan has a very strong supply chain management background through previous roles with Provet Pharma Pvt. Ltd. and Alved Pharma & Foods Pvt. Ltd. in India. Mr Venkatesan has extensive knowledge and expertise in the management of pharmaceutical supply chains.
Mr Mohammad Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan – Country Manager – Bangladesh
Mr Habib has experience in marketing, sales and senior management in the animal health and feedmill industries in Bangladesh. Mr Habib has extensive experience and broad technical knowledge in the production, nutrition and health of poultry.

Dr Kevin B.H. Teh – Regional Technical Services Manager – Asia
Dr Teh, completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). His commercial and industry experience includes farming, quality assurance and animal nutrition for livestock & aquacultures. He has held various technical and management positions with feed manufacturing and integrated broiler companies in Malaysia.
Mr Mahmoud Jaber – Regional Manager – MEA
Mr Jaber holds a degree in Agriculture from Jerash University (Jordan) and an MBA from Almeda University (USA). Mr Jaber has a strong background in feed additives with roles as Regional Manager for the Middle East and North Africa for 3A Agrovet Animal Health and as General Manager (Jordan) for Takamul National.
Mr Colin Bennett – Country Manager – Australia
Mr Bennett has a degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Mr Bennett has over 19 years experience in agribusiness through previous roles with the Queensland Department of Primary Industries and Rivalea, Australia’s largest pig producer, where Mr Bennett held management roles in R&D, Genetics, Logistics and Consumer Products.
Ms Sandra Elliott – Regulatory Manager
Ms Elliott has an Honours Degree in Biological Science from the University of Manchester and Master of Science from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in the UK. Ms Elliott has managed regulatory functions for multinational animal health and chemical companies and provided regulatory consultancy services to the agricultural industry since the early 1990’s. With direct experience in compiling and submitting regulatory dossiers, permits, GMP requirements and review of labeling and promotional material in 14 countries in the Australasian region, Ms Elliott has also provided support on regulatory matters for many other global markets.
Ms Candy Lam – Manager – Logistics & Customer Services – Australia
Ms Lam has a degree in Business Computing from the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia. Ms Lam has over 15 years experience in international transportation industry and a very strong background in customer services with various customer services management roles in both Hong Kong and Australia for Maersk Line, the world largest shipping company.
